Just Build Interior Design Studio ("Just Build", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA"). This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and what rights you have over it.
What we collect
We collect personal data only when you choose to give it to us. In practice, that means:
- Enquiry and contact form data: your name, email address, project type, and the contents of any message you send us through this website or by email.
- Correspondence: if you email or message us directly, we keep a record of that conversation so we can follow up on it.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of our own on this website, and browsing it doesn't require an account. A client log in is offered on the site but isn't yet connected to any account system; it doesn't currently collect or store anything you enter.
How we use your data
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, discuss and scope a potential project, and, where a project proceeds, to communicate with you throughout it. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have separately agreed to that.
Third-party services
This website uses a small number of third-party services to function: Google Fonts, to load the typefaces used across the site, and an embedded Google Map on our Contact page, to show our studio location. Both are operated by Google and may set their own cookies or process technical data (such as your IP address) under Google's own privacy policy, independently of us. We don't control what those third parties collect, and we'd encourage you to review Google's privacy policy if you have concerns.
How long we keep it
We retain enquiry and correspondence data for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you, and, if a project proceeds, for the duration of that engagement and a reasonable period afterward for our business and legal records. If you ask us to delete your data and we have no ongoing legal or contractual reason to keep it, we will do so.
Your rights under the PDPA
You may ask us at any time to:
- confirm what personal data we hold about you, and access a copy of it;
- correct any personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- withdraw your consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data, subject to any legal or contractual restrictions; and
- ask us to delete personal data we no longer have a valid reason to keep.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We'll respond within a reasonable time, and in any case within the timeframe required by the PDPA.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to protect the personal data we hold from unauthorised access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we treat the data you share with us with the same care we'd want shown to our own.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for adults seeking interior design and renovation services. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for instance if we introduce a new service or a law changes how we're required to handle personal data. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
